My last post on this site was back in April, reminiscing about the life of my Grandmother. Since then I’ve been working a ton, doing podcasts and the like. Got back to “work work” a few weeks ago and it’s been a strange time warp from then to now.
All in all, as I reflect on the time I’ve been “off” from this site, I have a feeling that I think many of us are feeling these days as we attempt to put Quarantine in the past:
I’m tired. But yet, excited.
There were many things I’d wished to accomplish with my sudden “free” time, and within that span things happened quite unexpectedly. This has all resulted in a setup for the future, whatever that may be and while we all have our trepidation, one thing is certain. The future is coming, like a Tokyo train, and we’ll do the best we can.
Keep your wits about you, drink plenty of water. Be sure to reflect, but not to resent. Keep your heart full of hope, and be cautious. Take your time, take a deep breath, and speak clearly when it’s time to speak, and listen intently when it’s time to listen.
